CATHOLICON -2008 concluded on 24th-Jan-2008, Pharmacy students recorded and enviable history by capturing seven Top Positions out of 10 in the merit list declared by PTU. Drugone is a magazine related to various updates in pharma field. A stall was put by Drugone on 14th Aug, 07 to help the students be aware of various updates in this field. Delegation from Cambrian College from Canada, discussed job avenues with students for their career growth and best placements. Biotech Workshop conducted at college campus Guest Lecture conducted at CCP. Students of Bio-Technology are attending training in Micrology in reputed institutes.

Central instrumentation room

The College has central instrumentation room and it is equipped with HPLC, UV Spectrophotometer, PCR reader, Deep freezer, BOD incubator, Flame photometer etc. for learning various analytical techniques.

 

 

Library

The College Library is the hub around which all the academic activities of the college revolve. CCP has a computerized and air-cooled, library. The reading halls are tastefully furnished with a seating capacity for 60 students.  We have latest editions of every type of book. We provide the students with every type of book, which is necessary and helpful for their course. We provide students, extra knowledge with the aid of various international and national pharmaceutical journals, newspapers and magazines, are helpful for the students for their professional career.

Machine room

The college has well equipped machine room with modern technology machines where students can work and learn about the various process in drug manufacturing. The students of our college are exposed to every type of equipment so that when a student is indulged in a industrial process, he comes with great knowledge in every process, which comes in his/her way.

 

 

Computer Laboratories

Computer lab has all P-IV computers with latest software. Each student is provided with one separate computer. All these are connected on LAN with internet facilities. The lab is open for all the students, anytime during office hrs.

 

 

Herbal Garden

Herbs are easy to grow, disease resistant, hardy, look beautiful and are useful! Many herbs are perennials which means they grow for years.

 

 

 

 

Seminar Hall

The College has a large centralized AC seminar hall with a sitting capacity of 80 students. The Seminar hall is well equipped with all the necessary equipments like projectors, computers and mikes for the better performance. Amenient pharmacists from industry are invited to share their knowledge with the students.

 

 

Dispensary

A medical dispensary has been setup to cater to health care in the campus. It is managed by Dr.Mukh Mohit Bawa and is functional from 9.30 am to 4.30 pm. Required medicines are provided free of cost to students and faculty.

 

 

 

 

Sports Room

The College has a fully equipped sports room with the facility of playing Table Tennis and other mind strengthening games like chess, carom etc. Outdoor sports like cricket, football and basketball are also promoted
