Expert talk On “training of laboratory glassware and laboratory practices”

Chandigarh College of Pharmacy conducted an expert talk in collaboration with Borosil Ltd. on “training of laboratory glassware and laboratory practices”. The day was proceeded with Expert talk by eminent speakers Mr. Omkar Datar, National Sales Manager and Mr. Aakash Panwar, senior exexcutive, Borosil Pvt. Limited. Mr. Aakash Panwar highlighted the importance of borosilicate glass in Pharmaceutical laboratories. He also briefed students about volumetric glass classification, annealing process and laser marking processes used in glassware. It was very informative and interactive session for students. This talk was attended by approximately 120 students of B. Pharmacy and M.Pharmacy. The day was ended with vote of thanks by the Ms. Shikha Virk, Assistant Professor, Department of Pharmacology, CCP.
