Welcome to Chandigarh College of Pharmacy (CCP), Landran which is established under the aegis of Chandigarh Group of Colleges in 2005 with the aim of promoting excellence in Pharmaceutical education and research. Since its inception, CCP has been at the forefront of providing education in a highly professional set up adhering to global standards and setting bench marks for the industry. CCP has a magnificent standing of 18 years and continues to evolve as the most reputed and best Pharmacy College in Northern region of India. CCP is the only institute under IKG Punjab Technical University which is recognized as Scientific and Industrial Research Organization (SIRO) by the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research (DSIR), Ministry of of Science and Technology, Government of India (DSIR Approval No. 11/658/2015-TU-V).
India’s pharmaceutical industry has grown by leaps and bounds in the last three decades. As a result, it has emerged as world’s third largest producer of drugs in terms of volume. The Supply Annual Report of UNICEF recognized India as the world’s largest supplier of generics. This rapid growth in pharmaceutical sector is creating thousands of job opportunity every year. Our college provides value based quality education, produce professionally competent students for career in Pharmacy, and raise quality trained manpower to meet the requirements of national and international industry. CCP has knowledgeable and premeditated faculty, creating a constructive learning environment, demonstrating professionalism and being compassionate. Classroom teaching is further aided with guest lectures /expert talks on functional areas of research and development, production, marketing and latest innovations so as to enhance the students’ exposure and industry readiness. International and national conferences, industrial visits, student exchange programmes with foreign universities, Training and pre placement classes enrich the students’ overall knowledge and exposure.
We, at CCP, have been offering B. Pharmacy, M. Pharmacy (Regulatory affairs, Pharmaceutics, Pharmacology, Pharmacy Practice) and Pharm.D courses. All our courses are PCI and IKG PTU approved.
