M.Pharm (Pharmaceutics)

In this M.Pharmacy (Pharmaceutics) program (traditionally known as “The Science of Dosage Form Design’), we impart the basic knowledge and train the young students in the subjects of Molecular Pharmaceutics, Computer-Aided Drug Delivery System, Novel Drug Delivery Systems, Design of Dosage Form, Cosmeceuticals, Pharmacokinetics, etc. The ultramodern provisions of laboratories, e-classrooms, innovative teaching methods, etc are available for researchers. Students also carry out individual research projects on contemporary topics in pharmaceutics.

M. Pharmacy (Pharmaceutics) has always been the dominating production-oriented program that prepares students to enter the industry with the required skill and understanding. Various jobs in the fields of medical transcription, health care management, lab technicians, drug inspection, research association, analytical chemistry, and teaching get opened for the students of M. Pharmacy (Pharmaceutics). Other areas of opportunities for students include Government/Private healthcare centers, chemists, hospitals, and clinical research centers.

Eligibility

• All those candidates who have passed B.Pharm with at least 55% (50% in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST category) marks in aggregate from a recognized university are eligible.
• Admission to M.Pharm course both for 85% seats for residents of Punjab and 15% seats for outsiders shall be made strictly based on GPAT and in case seats are not being filled under respective categories, admission shall be considered based on the merit in qualifying examination.
