M.Pharm (Pharmacology)
In this specialization, students will be educated about Principles of Drug Discovery, Clinical Research, Pharmacovigilance, Mechanisms of Drug Action, and Advances in Pharmacology, Screening of Drug Molecules, and Clinical Management of Diseases. They will also be encouraged to carry out individual research projects on the latest topics in the areas of pharmacology.

Competent candidates with M.Pharmacy (Pharmacology) have no lack of opportunities. Analytical chemists, custom officers, scientists, drug inspectors, lab technicians, medical researchers, transcriptionists, professors, teachers, health care unit managers, scientists in the forensic department, pharmacists, etc, are just a few jobs which are suitable for M. Pharmacy (Pharmacology) students. Furthermore, research labs, drug manufacturing companies, hospitals & healthcare centers are other areas of interest for these students.
Eligibility
- All those candidates who have passed B.Pharm with at least 55% (50% in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST category) marks in aggregate from a recognized university are eligible.
- Admission to M.Pharm course both for 85% seats for residents of Punjab and 15% seats for outsiders shall be made strictly based on GPAT and in case seats are not being filled under respective categories, admission shall be considered based on merit in qualifying examination.
