About IIIC
To foster growth, it's essential for educational institutions to engage with industry. Pharmacists in training must grasp corporate culture for successful placements in global pharmaceutical companies. With India's economy opening up, the competition has intensified, necessitating graduates who meet industry standards. Addressing this, CCP, CGC Landran has formed an Institutional Industry Interaction Cell (IIIC) to bridge the gap between academic output and industry needs, ensuring students are job-ready for multinational corporations. The IIIC also enables faculty to stay abreast of industrial trends, while industries benefit from academic innovations, contributing to a technology-driven economy. The establishment of the IIIC is a strategic response to the challenge of aligning academic preparation with the practical demands of the industry.
Objectives of IIIC
- The Institutional Industry Interaction Cell (IIIC) aims to provide faculty and students with industrial exposure, aligning their knowledge with the demands of industrial culture.
- To provide ample opportunities for practical experience to students and faculty through industry visits, summer internships, and industry projects, which align academic knowledge with real-world applications, fostering a workforce that is adaptable and industry-ready.
- To provide support to departments in hosting workshops, through which students have a hands-on experience that synchronizes their theoretical insights with the demands of industrial culture.
- The initiative aims to explore and identify common avenues of interaction with industry, fostering a collaborative environment for mutual growth and innovation.
- To identify executive development program areas aligned with recent technological advancements and help departments connect with industries through R&D for mini projects and major projects, ensuring a collaborative approach to education and industry application.
- To encourage faculty members to apply their expertise to industry challenges, fostering consultancy opportunities. They engage in on-site and laboratory industrial testing, and the IIIC coordinates in-plant training for students.
- To involve industry experts in curriculum development so that faculty can incorporate new teaching methods and materials based on industry practices shared during expert talks, which helps in keeping the curriculum up to date with the latest trends and technologies.
- To host conferences and symposia with active industry participation and extend invitations to engineers from various sectors to deliver insightful lectures.
- To uphold our leading status in placements, we are committed to ensuring that every student is presented with premier placement opportunities through the provision of exceptional facilities.
