A Club that provides leadership, education, advocacy, and resources enabling clinical pharmacists to achieve excellence in practice and research.
Objectives:
Patient Education and Prescription analysis: It ensures the safe and effective use of medications by accurately interpreting and verifying medication orders. Provide knowledge to patients and their families about medications, including appropriate use, about prescription and its parts, potential side effects, and the importance of adherence to therapy.
Explore Case Studies: Facilitate the analysis and discussion of pharmaceutical case studies to enhance critical thinking, decision-making skills, and practical application of pharmaceutical knowledge.
Therapeutic Appropriateness: Assess whether the prescribed medication is the most suitable option for the patient’s condition, taking into consideration evidence-based guidelines and therapeutic alternatives.
Educate on ADR: Provide comprehensive guidance on Adverse Drug Reactions, including mechanisms, detection methods, reporting procedures, and strategies for prevention and management.
Community services: Nurture a supportive community among Pharmacy students and professionals through networking events, workshops, and collaborative projects.
