Induction Program

The Pharmacy Department of Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Landran organized an induction program from 17th July 2024 to 23rd July 2024. Campus director, Dr. P. N Hrisheekesha addressed the guests, faculty members and welcomed the newly admitted students of Pharmacy. Director Principal. Dr. Saurabh Sharma addressed the faculty members and students present and gave an Introduction to College Policies and Procedures. Post lunch HOD, Dr. Supriya Agnihotri interacted with new session students and provide them knowledge to pursue a successful career path and future employment opportunities. Further To help students acclimate to their environment, faculty members facilitated a campus tour, which included visits to the Central Library, RISE, CIL, Laboratories, Herbal Garden, and Animal House.

Next day, on 18th July Several sessions such as Recreational activities, examination /IQAC, ERP/NCC, Good Lab Practices were conducted by faculties. The following day, on July 19th, the students, accompanied by teachers, visited VR Punjab Mall to familiarize themselves with local services and markets.

On the 20th July, There were sessions on counseling of students by class-counselors, alumni interaction, expert engagement, motivational talks, MOOC Courses and Student- teacher Interaction. On the 22nd July, first session was started with brief introduction of department of student welfare in Chandigarh group of colleges by Ms. Gagandeep Bhullar. She interacted with students and explained them about various clubs for different extra-curricular activities that provide ample of opportunities, scope and facilities for development of personality and leadership qualities among the students. Then Brief introduction of Department of International Affairs in Chandigarh group of colleges was delivered by Dr.Pallavi. She explained about various international programs, internships, grants via which students get exposed to the whole wide world in our college. This was followed by second session on TPP interaction by Mr.Mandeep Saini. He briefly explain about the importance of TPP classes and how this training placement program help students in developing specific skills related to their preferred subject or domain to stay ahead in the competition. Post lunch talent hunt was conducted by various faculty members.

Last day was concluded with sessions on art of living, importance of Yoga and Psycology new session students also had the opportunity to connect with our Director Academics, Dr. Jagtar Singh Khattra, and Dr. Ruchi Singla, Director of Research and Innovation.

The top two winners from each category like dancing, singing, poster making, and creative writing competition were bestowed with Prizes. At the end of induction Program, HOD, Dr. Supriya Agnihotri delivered vote of thanks and welcome the new members to CCP family.
