5 days Workshop on Pharmacovigilance and Drug Safety Organized by Chandigarh College of Pharmacy, Landran
Chandigarh college of pharmacy in collaboration with Make intern, E-Cell (IIT Hyderabad), and IIC organized a five-day workshop titled Pharmacovigilance and Drug Safety” from 16th March to 20th March 2026 at the CCP Auditorium for B Pharm, M Pharm and Pharm D students. The workshop aimed to create awareness about the importance of monitoring adverse drug reactions (ADRs) and ensuring patient safety. The resource person Md. Hashim Mansoori, delivered an insightful session on the concepts of pharmacovigilance, ADR classification, and reporting systems, including the Pharmacovigilance Programme of India (PvPI). Students actively participated and gained valuable knowledge about drug safety and the role of healthcare professionals in preventing adverse effects. The speaker evaluated the students daily throughout the workshop. On the final day, based on their overall performance, the top five students were selected. These selected students advanced to the next round of the competition. The program concluded with a vote of thanks, appreciating the efforts of the organizers and the enthusiastic participation of the students.
