Industrial visit at Synthimed Labs Private Limited

Chandigarh College of Pharmacy organized an insightful industrial visit for B. Pharmacy 6th semester students at Synthimed Labs Private Limited, Dera Bassi, to provide hands-on exposure to pharmaceutical unit operations involved in the manufacturing of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs). The visit aimed to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and industrial practices. During the visit, students gained a comprehensive understanding of the various stages involved in API manufacturing, including raw material handling, synthesis, processing, and packaging. Students were guided through different sections of the facility, where they observed real-time operations related to API production, semi-formulations, and quality control. The industrial experts explained standard operating procedures, safety measures, and regulatory requirements followed in pharmaceutical manufacturing units. The visit significantly enhanced their understanding of working criteria in various departments and provided valuable insights into industrial workflows.
