‘Pharmacy week: Pharmacist meeting global needs (Tree plantation and Rally)

Chandigarh College of Pharmacy, Landran, in association with IIC celebrated National Pharmacy week. Several activities were scheduled to spread information about the Pharmacy profession under the theme of event named “Pharmacist meeting global needs”. Dr. Saurabh Sharma, Principal, addressed students and make them aware about the responsibility of the Pharmacist towards society. He also gave insight on the history of the Pharmacy profession and the development of Pharmacy education in the country.

The program pairs students and villagers to cumulatively work together for tree planting and rally. Ms. Bhawna and Ms. Kritika coordinated the event under the supervision of Dr. Supriya Agnihotri. The program has contributed towards environment and informing and educating people regarding pharmacy and its importance.
